           Capt. Matt caught his first Tarpon in the Summer of 1979 and has been hooked ever since. He spent the next 25 years fishing up and down the East Coast and in Lake Ontario catching every thing that swims. And in 2003 finally returned to the scene where it all began .

 

                 Since then Capt. Matt has been catching Snook, Redfish, Sea Trout, Grouper, Snapper, Sharks and of course the Silver Kings - Tarpon.

 

           In 2011 we became Certified by the International Game Fish Association as a Certified Captain, we are proud to be one of just a few in our area to achieve this certification.

 

           We are listed as a Conservation Captain for The Tarpon and Bonefish Trust and members of The Florida Guides Association, CCA, IGFA and The Ft. Myers Beach Tarpons Hunters Club.

 

           We fish inshore and near-shore depending on the time of year and the fish we target, most of our Tarpon will be caught between March and October in the Rivers, inshore and near shore.
